ISALTIS is a private entity created in November 2011 with the aim of forming a Fine Chemistry group specialized in the development and manufacture of organic mineral salts, and serving many industries, from Life Sciences to industrial applications.
ISALTIS today is owning two manufacturing sites:
- GIVAUDAN-LAVIROTTE (ex-subsidiary of Seppic) based in Lyon, France
- BERNARDY (former subsidiary of SPCH) based in Thenioux, France
ISALTIS was acquired in 2018 by MACCO ORGANIQUES, a Canadian chemical company.
ISALTIS and MACCO ORGANIQUES are both part of LALLEMAND Group, a biochemicals company employing over 4000 people worldwide, world leader in the development and production of yeasts and bacteria.
ISALTIS is one of the major producers of high purity mineral salts Based in particular on alkaline and alkaline-earth metals (Potassium, Sodium, Calcium, Magnesium, Strontium, Barium) and other metals such as Iron, Aluminum and Zinc, these salts are essential for all body functions human: hormonal regulation, endurance, bone and joint health, tissue repair, energy production, acid-base balances, nervous functions … They are also useful for many industrial applications such as pyrotechnics or catalysis by example.
Our production sites have more than 50 years of experience in metals and their chemistry. With our 2 manufacturing sites “BERNARDY” and “GIVAUDAN-LAVIROTTE”, we offer a wide range of products in our catalogue, as well as custom synthesis capacities.
Our multi-purpose factories can produce commercial quantities ranging from a few kilograms to several hundred tonnes per year under GMP conditions for applications ranging from pharma, nutrition, cosmetics, dental care, veterinary medicine to industrial applications such as pyrotechnics, catalysis, nuclear energy. …
