Ethyl nicotinate is principally used in medicine as a local vasodilator at a concentration of 1 to 2 % in creams, ointments and pomades.
Owing to its rubefacient properties, it is prescribed to some rheumatic affections and it is used for treatment sprains, wrenches, muscular pains and tendonitis.
Raw material used for its synthesis being not from animal source, this product cannot lead to any contamination with BSE agent.
